Use the options below to fully kit out your new electric pressure. This will add full quick disconnect functionality from pressure washer, Hose, short gun, tip to the foam cannon. These upgrades are where 80% of the user experience is felt. These simple upgrades will make using your pressure washer a far better experience. These upgrades will fit on all the pressure washer models that I have listed in my portable pressure washer section. These pressure washer upgrades will also fit most models on the market. The only difference with some pressure washers is the high pressure hose attachment point size. (#1 below) Most common machines (Kranzle, AR, Active, Karcher are all M22 14mm) On rare occasion some other brands are fitted with M22 15mm.
Garden Hose Quick Disconnects
Garden hose QD’s are used to quickly connect and disconnect a garden hose to the pressure washer. These connectors are a key component to a fast setup and breakdown of your pressure washer. Here is what you need. Get either individual parts or the ready to go kit.
Individual Parts
SS MTM Garden Hose 3/4” Female Quick Disconnect Coupler (Need 2) 1. Attaches to the male end of your hose bib. 2. Attaches to the male end of your garden hose and connects to the male plug on your garden hose.
SS MTM Garden Hose 3/4” Male Quick Disconnect Plug (Need 2) 1. Attaches to the female connection on your garden hose. 2. Attaches to the female garden hose connector on your pressure washer

This is my favorite electric pressure washer upgrade kit. Shown with the Kranzle 1322TS this kit is plug and play with AR, Kranzle, Active, Karcher Cube K1700 and most other popular pressure washers. I always recommend purchasing the best quality tools that you can afford. This kit is plug and play with most electric pressure washers when using the parts listed below. Here is what you will need.
#1- M22 (14mm) to 3/8" Male Stainless Plug This male plug attaches to the pressure washer m22 14mm water out put fitting. This connection enables a female quick disconnect to be used to connect & disconnect the pressure washer hose to and from the pressure washer. Great upgrade. (Pressure washer hose must be outfitted with a 3/8” female quick disconnect installed on both ends)
Fit: Kranzle 1322TS - AR 630 - Active 3.0, 2.3, 2.0 - Karcher Cube and most other popular low cost electric pressure washers.
#2- 3/8" Female Quick Disconnect Coupler (One for each end of the hose 2 total) These fittings convert this mid level grade hose from M22 connections to 3/8” female quick disconnects. After this conversion these female quick disconnects can now be connected to the pressure washer 3/8” Male Plug and the 3/8” Male Plug on the short gun.
#3- Top grade 50’ Pressure Washer Hose (Comes standard with parts #1-#2-#3-#4 already connected) High-end commercial grade pressure washer hoses are built for serious performance and long-term reliability, featuring premium construction with heavy-duty braided or spiral steel, kink-resistant technology, and high-quality fittings that resist corrosion and leaks even under intense pressure and frequent use. They stay flexible in cold weather, deliver smoother water flow, and typically last years longer than standard hoses.
#4- 3/8" Female Quick Disconnect Coupler (One for each end of the hose 2 total) These fittings convert this mid level grade hose from M22 connections to 3/8” female quick disconnects. After this conversion these female quick disconnects can now be connected to the pressure washer 3/8” Male Plug and the 3/8” Male Plug on the short gun.
#5- Short gun A short gun with a swivel puts an end to the long rifle style guns that come on most pressure washers. This puts you up close and in control of the sprayer as well as the foam cannon. Its a must have. User experience is greatly improved with these short guns. All of these short guns have quick disconnects on the front for a sprayer tip or a foam cannon. These all have male plug live swivels on the bottom that will connect to the 3/8 female connection on your pressure washer hose and smoothly swivel even while the PW is on. This will eliminate twisted hoses. Twisted hoses are a big problem without the live swivel. All three of these are fully compatible with this portable kit and suitable for full time commercial use although the different quality levels match their respective price points. #6- Tips There are a lot of options when buying tips. These tips are high quality correctly sized tips your your pressure washer. The correct size tip will produce 1000 PSI and will not over work the pressure washer. Choose the tip orifice size for your machine.
Foam Cannon A must have for the serious detailer. Apply thick shaving cream shampoo foam on your vehicle before the wash process. Great for pre wash touchless as well as application of shampoo prior to a contact wash.

I always recommend purchasing the best quality tools that you can afford. If you are on a budget this is a great kit. This kit is plug and play with most electric pressure washers with the parts listed below. Here is what you will need.

#4- Mid Level grade 50’ Pressure Washer Hose This mid quality hose is light weight and kink free but is not commercial grade. This hose is not steel braided and because of that it will slightly expand and contract under pressure. With some pressure washers that have an extremely sensitive pressure switch this small distortion can cause surging or pressure washer over or under run. This is very minor and most people do not notice or do not mind. For me its worth mentioning. This hose does come with factory fittings that thread directly to the pressure washer. To add quick disconnects to this hose you will need #2 and #6.

Short Guns
Pro grade short gun There are no compromises with this gun. This is a Pic of my personal spray gun. I have used this exact spray short gun since 2020 with constant use and it still looks and functions like new. The best live swivel on the market makes this pressure washer gun fatigue free and feels exceptional in the hand. Ultra high quality quick disconnect makes for effortless connection of tips and the foam cannon. Easy pull trigger and great cosmetics. User experience is a 10/10. I have used this for several years as my full time short gun and it has worked flawlessly. If you have the money I highly recommend this pressure washer gun. Do it and don’t look back. This is the ultimate pressure washer gun for a pro detailer or enthusiast that demands the best tools.
Pro grade short gun A great gun for the middle market. All the great features of a higher priced model for a fraction of the price. Good build quality featuring high quality stainless steel components. Ultra smooth live swivel that is recessed and clean. 1/4” quick disconnect on the front is a one handed auto connect version. I love this feature. Every pressure washer short gun should have it. Great Bang for the buck. Comes with a 40° 4.0 rubberized nozzle and M22-14-15 QD.
Mid level pro grade short gun This is a long standing industry standard for pressure washer guns. Great quality and cosmetics too. You do start to see a slight drop in fit and finish from the top of the line model above. Quick disconnect is a little less precision and live swivel more exposed. The live swivel also is less precision and free. This is still very acceptable for this price point and being willing to spend more money is the only way to fix it. This is a great gun for the pro detailer or enthusiast on a budget.
Tips
Top quality rubberized stainless sprayer tip with high quality long lasting rubber guard. This is a pic of my personal sprayer tip. I have used this exact tip since 2020 with constant use and it still looks and functions like new. This is an extremely high quality component that I have tested extensively. This rubber guarded tip will drastically reduce the possibility of damage to the paint if contact is made. Comes in orifice sizes to fit most pressure washers.
To achieve approx. 1000PSI requires these orifice sizes:

Rubberized stainless sprayer tips with color coded rubber guards. Limited orifice sizes available (2.5-4.0). These are a great budget solution. Good bang for the buck. Industry standard color patterns make identification easy. These rubber guarded tips will drastically reduce the possibility of damage to the paint if contact is made. High quality Non-Guarded stainless sprayer tips without rubber guards. These are a budget solution that are tried and true. These are standard issue with most pressure washers in the world. A great way to economically adjust the orifice size to calibrate your pressure vs. flow prior to investing in a higher quality tip. Overall good bang for the buck. Industry standard color patterns. Be careful not to hit the paint. These will damage paint if contact is made.

Best Foam Cannon Under $20
Foam cannon A great economical knock off foam cannon that will get the job done but won’t leave you proud of what you bought. Questionable materials and build quality. I use it for harsh chemicals and as a beater that I don’t need to take care of. I have a few of them.
