The Active 2.3 is a great value at this price point. You get exactly what you pay for. Is it a Kranzle? No but this unit performs well and will produce great results. Higher quality components cost more money to manufacture and you will see these quality differences reflected throughout the different pressure washer price points. The Active 2.3 has a replaceable pump and will last for many years of service. Its has great water flow @2.3 GPM and a working pressure of 1000 PSI. It runs great and produces great results on a 15 amp house circuit using the provided tips and foam cannon orifice. If you modify from these OEM orifice sizes you will likely need a 20 amp circuit. The Active 2.3 was designed specifically for auto detailing making it a great choice for a homeowner / enthusiast and or a pro detailer. The Active 2.3 offers a very high end user experience and also provides confidence knowing that it will last a long time. The Active 2.3 is a little louder than some of the other quieter electric pressure washers out there. I do a practical NO BS sound test where I am at different distances from the unit in the video below. I felt as if it had very reasonable sound levels in my testing. DIY ACTIVE 2.3 Solution

This is for the person who is ready to do it yourself. Gathering all the parts and putting this thing together will be easy using this list. These are the parts and pieces to my exact setup. Compare the numbered picture to the list below. This should make it easy for you to get this done correctly without searching all over the place hoping you get the correct parts and fittings. When there are different options for the same part I listed them as a-b or c. Happy building.

#1- Hose Bib Great hose bib and does not require soldering or special tools.

#2- 3/4 SS Garden Hose to 3/4 NPT Adapter Converts the garden hose threads to a 3/4” national pipe thread.

#3- 24" Braided SS Hose Stainless steel braided burst resistant water inlet hose.

#4- 3/4 SS NPT to 3/4 Garden Hose Converts the 3/4” national pipe thread to garden hose thread that threads to the pressure washer.

#5- M22 (14mm) Female to 3/8" Stainless Plug Turns the m22 14mm pressure washer fitting into a male quick disconnect fitting.

#6- Jumper Hose used to connect the pressure washer to the reel. (Depending on the distance from your shelf to the hose reel use a 2' or 3' jumper hose accordingly)

#9- Cox Hand Crank Hose Reel Commercial quality 100’ hose reel that is perfect for these wall mounted kits.

#9a- SS Swivel & Pick Your Color Pressure washer hose reel that has a stainless steel swivel and the reel comes in several different color options. Consider Black with this kit.

#12- Stainless Rubberized Nozzle Assembly (40 Degree - 4.5 Orifice to achieve 1000 PSI with e Active 2.3) Great for wide fan pattern auto detailing. Has a protective rubber guard to protect from contact with delicate surfaces.
